Hi All... ...is it possible to get sharepoint (MOSS 2007 SP2) Files/content *.doc *.xls *.pdf etc...directly out of the sql database (2005 SP4)..sp installation is broken ......and a reconnection isn't possible.... I really appreciate any help on this issues. THX

Hi Bronko85, You should be able to attach this Content database to another web application and access all your data. Do you have another working SharePoint farm - may be a test farm? Few things to consider: You would backup this content database from SQL Take it to the new farm Restore it to a db Then either create a new web app/ use an existing test one and remove the database from Central admin Then attach the database you migrated Once you go through these steps you should be able to get hold of all your data Note this new farm would need to be at the same patch level as your origianl one.
